Hours Apart for iPhone and Apple Watch · Effective [RELEASE DATE]

In short: Hours Apart does not collect, store on a server, sell or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

Data on your devices

Your cities, countdowns, clock names and widget styles are saved on your iPhone and shared with the Hours Apart widgets through an App Group on the same device. They are sent to your paired Apple Watch directly over Apple's WatchConnectivity. They are never sent to us or to any other server.

Location

If you allow it, the app uses your approximate location on the device to show which of your saved cities you're in. The location is processed and stored only on that device, is ignored after six hours, and is never transmitted. Widgets do not use location. You can turn location off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services.

City search

When you search for a city, the search text is sent to Apple Maps to find results. Apple's privacy policy applies to that request. We don't receive it.

Contact form and email

If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which forwards them to us by email; they are not used for anything else. Web3Forms' privacy policy applies to that transfer. If you email us, your message stays in our mailbox. We use your details only to answer you and delete them when they are no longer needed. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of the data you sent us, and complain to a data protection authority. Write to the address above.

Children

Hours Apart collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact
